Description
In this paper the authors describe the preparation of components and the assembly and testing of a prototype electrochromic window. Solid polymer electrolytes based on poly(trimethylene carbonate), doped with a range of concentrations of lithium perchlorate, were used as multi-functional components in the devices. The device performance was encouraging with appropriate memory effect and optical transparency for technological application.
