One month advance of the natural breeding season in Churra Galega Bragançana ewes resultin higher profitability since lambs can be sell for Christmas Progestagens and eCG (equine Chorionic Gonadotrophin) treatments may be used to disrupt seasonal anoestrus in Mediterranean ewes. The current study aims to assess the effects of a long-term progestagen treatment associated with different doses of eCGto advance the breeding season in Portuguese Churra Galega Bragançana ewes.
