Communication and Society is a thematic journal in the field of Communication Sciences. The journal, which is published since 1999, has a rigorous system of peer reviewing, and is published twice a year. It joined the OJS system in 2012 and is published in Portuguese and in English since 2013. The editorial board of the journal Communication and Society includes renowned researchers from the Communication Sciences, from different parts of the world. The journal Communication and Society (ISSN: 1645-2089) is a publication of the Communication and Society Research Centre of the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Minho, and is funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT).
