Unusual cause of tetraparesis in an adult.

A 61 year old male developed progressive spastic tetraparesis and paresis of the lower cranial nerves (IX, X and XI) after a minor spine-head trauma. Magnetic resonance depicted a partially cystic IV ventricular mass, extending to C1/C2 level. Neuropathology was compatible with choroids plexus papilloma (CCP).
