Synthesis, wash and light fastness of azo dyes derived from N,N-diethylanilines

A series of monoazo dyes was prepared by coupling carbocyclic and heterocyclic diazo components to four compounds of the N, N-dialkylaniline type. The dyes were characterised by spectroscopic methods, elemental analysis or mass spectrometry.
