A new survey of muonium states brings the total of binary non-magnetic oxides studied to 30, with normal muonium--the interstitially trapped atomic state--found in 15 of these. The number of shallow-donor states of the type known in ZnO now also totals 15, but there are hints of several others. Tantalizingly, the shallow-donor and deep-atomic states are found to coexist in several of the candidate high-permitti...
We have used a pair of crossed coils to generate rotating RF fields for a muon spin resonance measurement by driving one of the two coils and adjusting the tuned frequencies and mutual coupling to give the required 90o phase shift. Fitting the measured impedance to an equivalent circuit model gives information on the rotating field. ; http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/B6TVH-4HYV078-R/1/73d52003e85...
Abstract Muonium centres in Cu2O, Ag2O and CdO show hyperfine parameters spanning four orders of magnitude. They exemplify the three different categories of hydrogen defect centre in semiconducting and dielectric solids, with very different electronic structure and electrical activity, namely quasi-atomic (possibly deep acceptor), deep donor and shallow donor. ; http://dx.doi.org/10.1007/s10751-005-9058-7
