A mosca-da-cereja (Rhagoletis cerasi L.), considerado o principal fitófago da cerejeira na Europa, atinge na região da Cova da Beira (Portugal) níveis de infestação dos frutos de 7%-8%, nas cultivares semi-tardias e tardias.
