A morte e o luto são acontecimentos que fazem parte das vivências
do ser humano ao longo do seu ciclo de vida. No entanto, apesar da
consciência que a finitude é inerente à vida, a compreensão destes
processos é sempre algo problemático.
O presente trabalho tem como objectivo geral compreender do ponto
de vista do comportamento humano de que forma se vivencia o
processo de luto nos familiares das vítimas da tragédia da queda da
ponte de Entre os Rios, em termos emocionais, sociais e
psicológicos bem como comparar os processos de luto realizados
por diferentes indivíduos e tendo como variáveis a idade, número de
familiares perdidos e grau de parentesco.
Foram realizados dois estudos, um qualitativo, onde foram
entrevistados 12 indivíduos e outro quantitativo, que envolveu uma
amostra de 102 inquiridos que responderam a um questionário
sobre o Luto. Para análise dos dados foi utilizada a análise de
conteúdo e a análise estatística.
Os principais resultados indicaram, em termos globais, que o
processo de luto dos familiares entrevistados se revela ainda
inacabado, mesmo decorridos 5 anos após a tragédia, e que
variáveis como a idade e grau de parentesco do familiar perdido
influenciam o decorrer de um processo de luto saudável.
São referidas algumas limitações inerentes a este tipo de estudo,
cuja especificidade aborda questões vulneráveis e com
consequências tão drásticas na vida dos indivíduos.
ABSTRACT: The death and bereavement are events that are part of the experiences of
the human being to the long one of its cycle of life. However, despite the
conscience that the finitude is inherent to the life, the understanding of
these processes is always something problematic.
The present work has as objective generality to understand of the point of
view of the human behaviour of that it forms if it lives deeply the process of
bereavement in familiar of the victims of the tragedy of the fall the Ponte de
Entre os Rios in emotional, social and psychological terms as well as
comparing the processes of bereavement carried through for different
individuals and having as changeable the age, degree of kindred and
number familiar lost.
Two studies had been carried through, a qualitative one, where 12
individuals and another quantitative one had been interviewed, that it
involved a sample of 102 inquired that they had answered to a
questionnaire of bereavement. For analysis of the data it was used the
analysis of content and the analysis statistics.
The main results had indicated, in global terms, that the process of
bereavement of the familiar ones interviewed if still discloses unfinished,
exactly passed 5 years after the tragedy, e that changeable as the age and
familiar degree of kindred of the lost one influences elapsing of a process of
bereavement healthful.
Some inherent limitations are related to this type of study, whose specify
approaches questions vulnerable and with so drastic consequences in the
