O tema da presente dissertação de mestrado está relacionado com os
elevados consumos energéticos da actualidade, resultantes da permanente
utilização de fontes de energia não renováveis e com a forma como a energia
é utilizada em especial no sector dos edifícios, onde nem sempre os processos
utilizados são os mais eficientes.
O trabalho foi desenvolvido essencialmente em duas partes, a primeira de
consulta de bibliografia internacional, comunitária e nacional e a segunda, de
carácter mais prático.
Inicialmente procedeu-se a um levantamento exaustivo dos esforços
realizados a nível comunitário e nacional, designadamente principais
estratégias, legislação e respectiva regulamentação da eficiência energética e
das energias renováveis. Toda a informação obtida foi reunida e organizada de
modo a poder ser divulgada de uma forma contextualizada e integrada.
A parte prática pretende demonstrar, que através de uma gestão de energia
organizada e bem estruturadas é possível contribuir para a redução das
facturas energéticas e das emissões de gases poluentes através da redução
dos consumos de energia fóssil. Neste sentido foram estudadas diferentes
alternativas e analisadas as suas condições de projecto e técnicas.
A empresa municipal, Penafiel Activa, responsável pela gestão das piscinas
municipais e pelo pavilhão de feiras e exposições de Penafiel foi o alvo da
auditoria energética realizada. Considera-se que sendo ambos os edifícios
espaços públicos e com consumos de energia significativos é relevante a
realização de uma auditoria energética.
Através da recolha e tratamento dos dados obtidos sobre os edifícios da
responsabilidade da Penafiel Activa, a dissertação procura contribuir com
medidas, recomendações e sugestões a serem consideradas pela empresa.
ABSTRACT: The subject of the present master dissertation is related with the high energy
consumption of the present time, resultant of the permanent utilization of nonrenewable
energy and with the way how energy is being used in particular in
the sector of the buildings, where not always the procedures are the most
efficient.
The work was developed essentially in two parts, first on consultation of
national, community, and international bibliography and a second one, with
more practical character.
In the first part proceeded to an exhaustive survey of the efforts carried out in a
national and community level such as main strategies, legislation and
respective regulation of the energy efficiency and renewable energies. All the
information obtained was gathered and organized with the objective to be
divulged into context and integrated way.
The practical part intends to show that through an organized and well
structured management of energy is possible to contribute for the reduction of
the energy costs and the emissions of pollutants gases through the reduction of
the fossil energy consumption. In this sense, were studied different alternatives
and analyzed his conditions of project and techniques for the municipal
company, Penafiel Activa.
Penafiel Activa is responsible by the management of the municipal swimming
pools and by the fairs and expositions pavilion of Penafiel. Being both of the
buildings public spaces and with significant consumption of energy, it was
considered prominent an energy audit. Through the collecting and handling of
the information obtained about the buildings of the responsibility of Penafiel
Activa, the dissertation seeks to contribute with measures, recommendations
