Wireless communications in distributed and/or embedded systems is an important research topic today. One of the emerging standards in this domain is Bluetooth. In this paper a demonstrator of embedded devices connected with Bluetooth is presented. The demonstrator is used to show the development technology available at our laboratory. So, besides the description of its operation, the paper includes an overview of the Bluetooth standard and a step by step presentation of the implementation of the modules using one of the current development tools: BlueCore from the company Cambridge Silicon Radio.
