This text analyses the three stages of the conception and the representation of the national identity in the Portuguese Literature written and received in Portugal since modernity. Considering its most recent stage, it addresses the notion of Lusophony and argues it from the idea that the literatures in Portuguese language dwell in non-coinciding spaces and times. And it draws the attention to an emergency of representation of a new subjectivity in the Portuguese Literature. Keywords: national identity, individual identity, subjectivity Este texto analisa as três etapas da concepção e da representação da identidade nacional na Literatura Portuguesa escrita e recebida em Portugal desde a modernidade. Considerando a etapa mais recente, interpela a noção de Lusofonia problematizando-a a partir da ideia de que as literaturas em língua portuguesa se inserem em espaços e em tempos não coincidentes. E chama a atenção para a emergência da representação de uma nova subjectividade na Literatura Portuguesa. Palavras-chave: identidade nacional, identidade individual, subjectividade
