This work presents the physical and dosimetric properties of the Enhanced Dynamic Wedges (EDW) including depth doses, beam profiles and effective wedge attenuatin factors (EWAF) by experimental determinations.The measurements were performed for 6 MV at a Linear accelerator Varian Clinac 2100 C/D, Varian Medical Systems. The main purpose of this work was to study the dosimetric properties of EDW in order to implement them in XiO treatment planning system (TPS) by two algorithms, Clarkson and Convolution/Superpositon under the same conditions.
