O presente estudo apresenta os dados preliminares de um projecto que procura avaliar a relação entre a organização da vinculação, avaliada através do Adult Attachment Interview (AAI; George, Kaplan & Main, 1984) e a regulação autonómica, avaliada através do registo da condutância da pele e da frequência cardíaca, numa amostra de quatro pacientes diagnosticados com perturbações do comportamento alimentares segundo o DSM-IV e que estão em tratamento no departamento de psiquiatria num hospital a norte de Portugal. Para avaliar empiricamente as relações entre estas variáveis foi utilizado um sistema digital multimédia, denominado Bio-behavioral Dual-channel Representation of Attachment Multimedia System (BioDReAMS; Cunha, Soares, Zhan-Jian, Pinho, Costa & Silva, 1999) que permite recolher e analisar de forma sincronizada a informação vídeo e áudio, sinais de ECG e níveis de condutância da pele durante o AAI. Neste artigo, serão discutidos os resultados e as suas implicações para os correlatos psicofisiológicos da organização da vinculação no adulto no grupo clínico das perturbações alimentares. In this study, attachment organization, assessed through the Adult Attachment Interview (AAI; George, Kaplan, & Main, /984), and autonomic regulation - assessed by the recording of skin conductance and heart rate - will be examined in a sample of four patients diagnosed with eating disorders based on the DSM-IV that are receiving treatment in several psychiatric units in the north of Portugal. In order to examine empirically the relations between these variables, we used a fully digital multimedia system, named Bio-behavioral Dual-channel Representation of Attachment Multimedia System (BioDReAMS; Cunha, Soares, Zhan-lian, Pinho, Costa, & Silva, 7999) that enables the synchronous collection and analysis of video and audio information, ECG signals, and skin conductance levels during the AAI. In this paper, we will discuss findings and their implications for psycho-physiological correlates of adult attachment organization within the clinical group of eating disordered patients
