Description
O ramo da cirurgia dedicado à cabeça alcança um grande interesse no quotidiano médicoveterinário,
dado a importância das patologias traumáticas e atraumáticas ocorridas nesta zona,
que possam ter resolução cirúrgica.
É indubitável que a Anatomia e a Cirurgia são duas áreas inseparáveis, isto é, para que uma
cirurgia tenha êxito é necessário uma correcta sapiência da anatomia do paciente. Assim sendo, a
anatomia é sem dúvida o pilar e a base de cirurgia. Deste modo, este trabalho propõe realizar a
abordagem prática das principais estruturas anatómicas bem como os acessos/abordagens
cirúrgicas da cabeça para a resolução de patologias características desta zona.
O conhecimento anatómico permite evitar lesões durante o procedimento cirúrgico. Neste
trabalho serão incididas e realçadas as consequências práticas de lesões de estruturas anatómicas relevantes cirurgicamente. The branch of surgery devoted to the head reaches great interest in a veterinarian daily life, given
the importance of the traumatic and atraumatic pathologies, occurring in this area, which may
have surgical resolution.
Undoubtedly, Anatomy and Surgery are two inseparable areas, this means that, for a surgery to
be successful, it’s necessary high knowledge of the patient’s anatomy. Thus, the anatomy is,
without any doubt, the support and base of surgery. By this mean, the present work proposes a
practical approach of the main anatomical structures as well as the surgical access/approach to
the head to solve the usual pathologies in this area.
The anatomical knowledge allows avoiding lesions during the surgical procedure. In this work,
we will focus and highlight the practical consequences of lesions in anatomical structures
