O papel do desenho técnico na motivação dos alunos pela educação visual

Perante o contexto de um turma de 9ºano desmotivada e com um fraco envolvimento nas propostas de trabalho da área disciplinar curricular de Educação Visual, revelou-se fundamental a necessidade da conceção e implementação de estratégias conducentes a uma melhoria do grau de envolvimento por parte desses alunos relativamente à disciplina. Perante a grande dificuldade na representação do real através do desenho de observação, e suportada por uma flexibilidade metodológica na gestão dos conteúdos programáticos da disciplina de Educação Visual do 3º ciclo do Ensino Básico, recorreu-se ao Desenho Técnico como estratégia motivacional, no sentido de fazer ‘tábua rasa’ perante os ‘medos’ instalados e receios tantas vezes traduzidos em expressões do tipo ‘ não tenho jeito para o desenho’. Nesta investigação foi utilizada a metodologia qualitativa - estudo de caso. Como instrumentos, utilizámos a pesquisa documental e a observação naturalista. Assim, delineou-se e implementou-se uma estratégia que permitiu a estes alunos a utilização do Desenho Técnico e posterior aplicabilidade de regras e princípios de geometria, na decomposição e entendimento do Desenho de Observação. Verificou-se um aumento do grau de envolvimento dos alunos e dos resultados por estes alcançados, traduzido numa melhoria da avaliação realizada aula a aula. A estratégia implementada permitiu constatar ainda uma melhoria generalizada dos níveis de motivação e um maior envolvimento por parte dos alunos relativamente às unidades de trabalho abordadas. Given the context of a class of 9th grade unmotivated and weak involvement in work proposals curricular subject area of Visual Education, proved crucial to the need of the design and implementation of strategies leading to an improvement in the degree of involvement of these students regarding discipline. Given the great difficulty in representing the real by drawing from observation, and supported by a methodological flexibility in the management of the syllabus content of Visual Education of the 3rd cycle of basic education, we resorted to Technical Drawing as a motivational strategy towards do ' clean slate ' installed before the ' fears ' and fears translated into many times expressions like ' I have a knack for drawing'. Case study - this qualitative research methodology was used. As instruments, we used documentary research and naturalistic observation. Thus was outlined and it was implemented a strategy that allowed these students to use the Technical Drawing and later applicability of rules and principles of geometry, the decomposition and understanding of Design Observer. There was an increase in the degree of involvement of the students and the results achieved by these translated into improved evaluation carried class by class. The implemented strategy allowed even notice a general improvement of levels of motivation and greater involvement by students in relation to addressed work units.
