Esta investigação teórica tem como objeto de estudo a necessidade de sensibilizar a população escolar, pais, professores e comunidade em geral, para a convivência cada vez maior com crianças que apresentem dificuldades de aprendizagem e necessidades educativas especiais. “Para compreender uma criança temos de voltar ao país das memórias, reviver o que ficou para trás, habitar de novo medos de que nos esquecemos. Olhar com olhos de espanto, chamar filha a uma boneca, e replicar o milagre da criação dando-lhe voz. Para compreender temos de voltar a pele do avesso, reduzir a dimensão do corpo na medida inversa em que cresce o sentimento. Cada criança é uma história por contar. (…). Para muitas crianças a sua história pode não terminar bem, e não viverem felizes para sempre. (Antunes, 2009, contracapa) Este trabalho tem por objetivo dar uma visão sobre as dificuldades com que se deparam os educadores nas salas de aula do ensino regular. Destina-se às crianças dessas salas de aula e a quem delas cuida: professores, pais, assistentes operacionais, psicólogos, professores de Apoio Educativo, de Educação Especial ou médicos, que anseiam por um final feliz para todas as histórias e não deixam que um qualquer “Espelho Mágico”, como o da história da Branca de Neve, diga a nenhuma criança que há alguém mais belo que ela. Neste trabalho vamos mostrar as reações e dificuldades que os professores enfrentam quando se deparam com uma turma regular, mas onde existem casos graves de dificuldades de aprendizagem, cognitivas, comportamentais, deficiências físicas, casos não sinalizados, crianças com deficiência, suas implicações, respostas e da inclusão. A estrutura do trabalho foi pensada, de modo a esclarecer determinados aspetos e a fazer notar o empenho e interesse na realização do mesmo, sendo este um trabalho de pesquisa bibliográfica totalmente teórico. This theoretical research has as its study’s aim the need to sensitize school population, parents, teachers and all the community in general, to the increasing coexistence of children who have learning difficulties and special educational needs. "To understand a child we must go back to the memory land, relive what was left behind, dwell fears that were forgotten. To look with amazement, call daughter to a doll, and replicate the miracle of creation giving it a voice. To understand we must put the skin inside out, reducing the body’s size, according to the feelings growth. Every child is an untold story. (...). For many children their story may not end well, and they may not live happily ever after. (Antunes, 2009, back cover). This assignment aims to provide a perspective about the difficulties faced by teachers in classrooms, of the regular education. It targets children in those classrooms and those who work with them: regular teachers, parents, school personnel, psychologists, support teachers, special education teachers, or doctors, who yearn for a happy ending to every story and don’t let any "Magic Mirror" as the one in the Snow White story, say to any child that there is someone more beautiful than she. In this work we show the reactions and difficulties that teachers face when presented to a class regular, but where are severe cases of learning, cognitive and behavioral difficulties, physical disabilities, unreported cases, children with disabilities, their implications, answers and inclusion. This study’s structure was designed, in order to clarify certain aspects and to show the commitment and interest in the making of it, being this a work of literature research entirely theoretical.
