Com este trabalho pretendeu-se elaborar um documento disponível para consulta por parte de
novos colaboradores que possam eventualmente vir a ser contratados pela empresa
INOVEPLASTIKA, com o objectivo de auxiliar a sua compreensão sobre alguns conceitos
fundamentais relativos ao trabalho desenvolvido na indústria de termoplásticos, mais
concretamente no que respeita a indústria de componentes automóveis, e desta forma
contribuir para um desempenho satisfatório ao longo do seu percurso na INOVEPLASTIKA.
Desta forma, neste trabalho apresenta-se os diferentes tipos de materiais frequentemente
utilizados na indústria transformadora dos termoplásticos, principais fornecedores de matériasprimas
utilizadas, principais componentes dos moldes, características de funcionamento das
injectoras, assim como possíveis correcções a implementar quando se opera numa injectora.
Para que os diferentes departamentos da INOVEPLASTIKA atingissem uma maior
interactividade entre eles, permitindo rentabilizar da melhor forma possível os equipamentos e
recursos humanos disponíveis e, consequentemente, possibilitar a obtenção de produtos com
valor acrescentado e aumentar a produtividade da fábrica, foi necessário implementar
metodologias de optimização na empresa. Assim sendo, este trabalho refere ainda a teoria que
suportou as implementações efectuadas, nomeadamente no que respeita a Engenharia de
Produto, de Processo e o Planeamento e Controlo da Produção. The main objective of this work was to elaborate a document that could be available for
consultation by any new employee who might be hired by the company INOVEPLASTIKA. The
aim of this document was to help the new collaborators to understand some fundamental
concepts regarding the work in the industry of thermoplastics in general, and in the automotive
industry in particular. This could contribute to its performance improvement along their journey
in INOVEPLASTIKA company.
Thus, this work presents several types of materials often used in the manufacturing of
thermoplastics, the main suppliers of raw materials, key components of the mould, the operating
characteristics of the injector machine, as well as possible adjustments that should be
implemented to correct some problems that can happen along the injection process.
From another point of view, along this work it was necessary to implement optimization
methodologies at INOVEPLASTIKA company, in order to achieve the best interactivity among
the different departments, allowing the best possible return of the equipment and of human
resources and, consequently, to increase the productivity of the factory. Therefore, this
document also mentions the theory that supported the optimizations implemented, namely in
what concerns Product Engineering, Process Engineering and Planning and Production Control.
